Alastair is delighted to announce that he has joined the incredible team at the extremely prestigious and world-famous Royal Marsden.
Founded in 1851, the Royal Marsden was the first hospital in the world dedicated to the study and treatment of cancer, and has since become one of the largest comprehensive cancer centres in Europe, with a CQC rating of “Outstanding”.
The Royal Marsden is ranked in the top four cancer centres in the world for the impact of their research, and this gives Alastair the opportunity to work with outstanding colleagues to provide the most up-to-date and cutting-edge treatments for head and neck cancer, including surgery combined with immunotherapy and robotic surgery to increase survival and reduce side effects for patients.
Their Royal Highnesses The Prince and Princess of Wales are Joint Patrons of The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust.
Alastair’s work will involve treating both NHS and private patients at The Royal Marsden building in Chelsea.
